Personal portfolio website · Readymag

#about
I’m a UX/UI and web designer creating clear, thoughtful digital experiences for businesses. This project is my first personal portfolio website—a place to introduce myself, showcase selected projects, and make it easy to get in touch.
#the goal
I wanted to create a digital business card that would reflect my personal style and help potential clients quickly understand what I do. The website needed to feel distinctive without becoming difficult to read, navigate, or maintain.
#the challenge
Starting without an existing website meant building the portfolio from the ground up. I needed to balance a strong visual impression with a straightforward structure, readable content, and interactions simple enough for me to implement and update independently.
#the solution
- Created a concise introduction with my specialisation, availability, and a direct contact link.
- Organised the portfolio around selected projects, with clear categories for e-commerce and corporate work.
- Used expressive typography and a restrained layout to give the website a personal feel while keeping the content easy to scan.
- Kept animations and interactions simple, making the experience easier to build and maintain.
- Added direct links to my resume, email, and social profiles.
#the result
The website now works as my online business card: it introduces me, showcases my work, and gives potential clients a clear way to contact me.
Since launch, the portfolio has received 5,000+ visitors, generated several project inquiries, and sent visitors to my social profiles. Because this was my first website, there’s no previous conversion rate to compare against.
